Riders over 70
#11
I have a few years until my 70th birthday but I'm seriously considering a Tri- Glide in the near future.
I'm still doing well on my CVO Ultra but I (we) have four anniversary year two-wheelers and the 2018 models will be the H-D 115th Anniversary Year so I'm "due" but the only problem I have is space!
In this part of the country our riding season usually runs from mid-April till early November but sometimes we may get a few extra days so for me a 10,000 mile year is fairly good.

I'll be 70 in a few months. Just got back from a three night, 900 mile ride to and around Death Valley on my Road Glide. I plan to continue riding until health forces me to stop. I will be adding a sidecar to the bike in the not to distant future though. I like sidecar rigs better than trikes.

70 this year. Eight years ago I bouhgt an 84 FLH from the original owner (he was 89). It has replaced my primary ride, my 65 FLH (owned since 1970) so that I can take it back to its original splendor and glory.
Told the wife I will conbtinue to ride so long as I can kick over my 49 EL.
Good to see so many 70+ riders posting.

70 next May ... still riding my '07 Street Glide. Got my first bike ('48 Indian) at age 16 and haven't gone more than about a year and a half total without a bike since then. Had 5 at one time back in the '90's. '89 Heritage ... '95 Electra Glide ... '64 BMW R 69 S ... and two '50's Triumph 650's. Fun times ..... Every Tuesday I meet with two other local forum members over 70 for beers .....

Just wondering how many of us are still on two wheels after age 70. I'm 74 and am still riding my 1995 Sportster 1200 and my 2002 Dyna Superglide. I hope to have at least a couple of more riding seasons. I almost have to ride a bit more. I have just had both bikes serviced.

The accepted natural progression of things is from order toward disorder. The predictability of tendencies and abilities of a 7 year old or a 17 year old degrades with time to the point where by 70 you're anywhere between dead and running the Boston marathon.
What was the question again ?
