Default Riders over 70

Just wondering how many of us are still on two wheels after age 70. I'm 74 and am still riding my 1995 Sportster 1200 and my 2002 Dyna Superglide. I hope to have at least a couple of more riding seasons. I almost have to ride a bit more. I have just had both bikes serviced.

I will be over 70 in six years. Will soon be riding my 2017 Heritage. Will be my second new Heritage. I had one in 1990 as well. I am also turning my age back 27 years when it is delivered.

I'm taking my 2014 XL1200T in for its 1K service Wednesday. I'll be 70 in August. Woulda had more miles on her but had to spend the summer working on our log home getting it ready to market. Plan to make up for lost time this summer.

I am not 70 but ride with three dear friends that range from 70 to 79. None are on this forum so I will speak for them. They all ride touring bikes. One has an 2015 Limited, one a Roadglide and the oldest rides a Road King.

The oldest guy has announced that when he turns 80 he is calling it quits. He made a promised to his wife several years ago that 80 will be it. He is in excellent health and mind but says his reflexs and reaction times are not what they used to be. I would never know it. We rode 250 miles with him last week and he is a great rider and a wonder friend.

I think that riding is something that actually helps to keep you young.

Turned 71 in February. Ride an 04 hot rodded 1250 Sportster. Never thought about age, I just do it... Setting a time line just makes ya age quicker.

My FIL is 72 and still rolls with the best of them. Went on 3 multiple day trips last year with him and he was the navigator and planner.
