I am trying to figure out what year this jacket is from and exactly what kind of Harley Jacket it is. I have searched the internet and have come up blank. Thank you in advance for your help!

My best guess is early forties, possibly 1941 or 1942. 2 clues are the WPL labelling started in 1941 and Harley used horse hides in the forties and fifties for their jackets.

 

Where did you get it? It reminds me of the jackets flyers wore in WW2.

 

Somebody else posted the same style jacket here recently but in a LOT better condition. Looks like rats got a hold of this one.

 

Thanks for your help so far. I got this jacket at an estate sale in Pa and was in a old barn. It is rough shape but has that cool vintage look.
