Had a great Father's Day. Left the house just before 8 am and got back at 5:30 pm. I saw Wisconsin and Iowa. Lots of twisty back roads. I returned home to dinner with the wife and kids, granddaughter and my parents.

Another Friday rideday is in the books for the wife and I. We headed over to Le Claire Iowa, did a bit of shopping. The wife did some wine tasting and buying as well. It was a pretty nice day. Not a ton of miles, by my standards, but it isn't always about the miles. Rockfalls, IL.

Le Claire, IA.

Oregon, IL.

Today is the last day of 17 days of vacation. During that time I took a 5 day trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota, and multiple day rides, but I didn't ride everyday. My mileage total was 4040.9 miles during this time period. All in all, a good vacation. We finished it off with a short mileage day. We rode to Boxcars in Clinton Wisconsin with some friends, for food, drinks, music and fun.

The wife and I had another great Friday rideday. It was way cooler than our last one never got above 74, and was in the 60's most of the day.

We rode up into Wisconsin, and hit three wineries along the way, but only one was in Wisconsin. Ready to roll.
Famous Fossil Winery.

Hawks Mill Winery.
Lunch in Darlington Wisconsin.
Galena Cellars.

The mighty Mississippi.

The wife's haul.
Another good day.

A few more miles today. We grabbed lunch at Buffalo Wild.Wings, then we rode around the Starved Rock State Park area for awhile. Much warmer weather today, with sunshine. The wife was all about stopping for more wine.

She should be good for awhile.
Beats sitting at home.
These things, whatever they are, were horrible today.

Went for a ride last night and got chased home by a huge storm, tonight's weather was much better.

If you or your wife like gourmet ice cream...

Next time you're near Rockton visit the Dairyhaus on Main St. You'll be amazed.

All cleaned up and ready for new bugs.
Ah, the open road.
Cruised through Shabbona State Park.
Looks like a nice day on the lake.

This T-storm cell caused me to change directions.
I did get hit with a few sprinkles as I shot down through DeKalb.
East and then south allowed me to find clear skies, for my trip west and then north home. Riding the storm out.....came to mind.
I'll take it.
Restricted by work as to how far I could ride today, but a grabbed a few miles.
