Default Dyna Low Rider S and 2018

Hello, does Harley Davidson plan on releasing the Dyna Low Rider S for 2018? I've heard many different things from sales reps all around - if not I'll need to move on one and get it!

thanks in advance

Tony

Until the dealers meeting all information is just speculation. If the meeting reveals no more S models you will still have time to find one at a dealer.

As of today, I still have not found an answer to the question. Hope the LR S stays around for 2018.

Hazarding a guess here... But presumably all the BT's are going to go to the M8. Perhaps sooner than latter. I'd likely rather go with a regular Low Rider with a M8 than the current Low Rider S (saving some coin in the process). So if the LR S is discontinued fine. Seemingly, you will still have just as good options (maybe with some upgrades here an there) down the road.

I think M8 is coming in mid year to both Dyna and Softail cruisers because of EURO-4 stupid European techno crats emissions law. Twin cam was never updated to E4 and is as today a EURO 3 engine.
For example the Sportster Evo engines was made to be Euro 4 compliant.

I think its a pity and it was cool to have a more raw engine on the bare cruisers versus the touring frame models. TC suits them more.

My dealer also says "no S-models in 2018".
