Hazarding a guess here... But presumably all the BT's are going to go to the M8. Perhaps sooner than latter. I'd likely rather go with a regular Low Rider with a M8 than the current Low Rider S (saving some coin in the process). So if the LR S is discontinued fine. Seemingly, you will still have just as good options (maybe with some upgrades here an there) down the road.

For example the Sportster Evo engines was made to be Euro 4 compliant.
I think its a pity and it was cool to have a more raw engine on the bare cruisers versus the touring frame models. TC suits them more.
