If I can get it for 8k I may pull the trigger, its going to cost $750 for a seat and forward control reduced reach control kit. Really was not looking but if its a great deal, why not right! Then there will be I expect 1k with replacing the bars and powder coating all that ugly *** chrome on the front end.

Just rode it, nice bike. Clutch needs to be adjusted. I am short, did not realize how "forward" the forward controls are. Reaching the brake was a chore. Different controls and a different seat would be mandatory. It was described as a CVO at first, it isn't. Going to think about it over the weekend. I think I can probably get it down to $8500 ish, has been for sale for a few months and not even a call.
I liked the look of other bikes better but being 6' 2" and having a long reach, the Dyna had the right reach for the bars and the bend in my knees for everyday city driving.
There is a site that you can enter your height and inseam. You put in the bike and it will give you the ergomatics ratings on the bike for a person of your size. The knee angle, hip angle, your forward lean. It is a free site Cycle-ergo.com. In the end the more comfortable you are riding your bike the more you will like it and ride it.

Dyna Wide Glides are for taller riders. That is the most compelling reason I chose my Dyna.
