I don't know why big touring bikes don't have an automatic either air, elec or hydraulic center stand. Not only lift but expand out for a steady hold on different surfaces

I know there's some kind of piece you can buy that pretty much guarantees the stand is in place, but it's 80 bucks and for newer bikes like yours.

Like outriggers on a crane, jiffy works fine me, works on most surfaces, except a rain field.

Thanks for this link Larry. Looks like something I may be interested in getting.

Forget about the jiffy stand and ride your bike. They'll be stuff that'll need to be "fixed" soon enough; save your money and time for that.

In the beginning, I thought my bike leaned a lot to the left but the longer that I had my Springer, the more that I got used to it. Just enjoy the ride and don't fret about the small stuff because pretty soon, you won't even remember what was bothering you, works for me.

You want that lean to the left to prevent...ah nevermind.

Wasn't there another guy that was arguing that it was broke? Went on for a while if I remember correctly...

It's fine. Just takes getting used to. When I got my RGC, the first couple stops, when I pit it down, I thought it was going to roll right over on the side. Hasn't yet....
