Several of mine could do it, but doing it and using it are 2 different things. The pucker factor can be high.
For sure - I always like to have as much or more stop, than go.

Sounds like trying to take a spark plug out with a screwdriver. The front and rear brakes are tools. Learn how to use them. Correctly.

I use both front and rear pretty equally. I don't discriminate. Really though coming to a stop is mostly rear, slowing from a high speed is front. With a passenger mostly rear brake so we don't play bobble heads.

I say mostly because I use both but put a little more pressure front or rear depending on the situation.

Both. With the only variable being front / rear modulation depending on the conditions under which I am braking. Fifty years on dirt bikes and I'm not changing the way I do it.

Why does this brake thing keep coming up? It's not a roll your own kind of thing. Or just do whatever so you stop. There is a correct way to use them. If you don't know how, check with any motorcycle training school. It's worth knowing. It could save your life. JMHO.

I use both to stop but probably my front a little more than the rear. When I've come to a stop though I only use the rear brake to keep me stopped. Using advice I found on this forum I find it easier to release the rear brake, clutch and roll on the throttle in one smooth motion a lot easier than trying to use the front brake when stopped, especially on a hill!

Interesting........

I think it depends allot on the bike, conditions, style of riding, exc!
My sport bikes, the rear brake had allot less effect.
The Big HD I use the rear brake allot ...... a hole lot...... dare I say more than the front for daily back and forth to work riding.
It depends on the situation & conditions.

No one good answer (front vs rear) for "ALL" bikes & condition/situations.

Front for me - probably 95/5 split between that and the rear.

I've gone whole tanks of gas without ever using the rear.
