Low Profile 3/4 Helmets ~ Fly .38 vs. Daytona vs ....
I am looking for a decent low profile, open face 3/4 helmet. I do want a DOT approved helmet but do not want something that is huge. I have read a bunch of threads, from over the last 10 years or so about this and I am familiar with all of the arguments.
Besides the awkward look of those helmets which are, in my opinion anyway, too large, they feel huge and uncomfortable.
I have tried on, for example, a HD branded 3/4 and a Bell 500 and they are definitely too big for my liking. I want something that sits lower on my head and is more low profile.
I did try on a Daytona Cruiser, which seemed like a good size... so that is one option. I am also interested in the Fly Retro .38 . I have not seen or tried one on in person but the Fly .38 seems (from online comparison photos and descriptions) to also be similarly (to the Daytona) more lower profile than most all of the other 3/4 helmets available currently.
I am interested in hearing from anyone who has tried on or owned a Fly Retro .38 ( and especially anyone who has experience with both the Fly .38 AND the Daytona Cruiser). The Fly .38 seems like it might be a bit better build quality than the Daytona... has a removable lining. I am wondering about the quality and the actual low profile size aspect of the Fly .38.
Any other helmet suggestions are welcome as well.
I have also checked out the Torc, Biltwell, LS2 and others... but while they all look great, when I see photos of them on a rider they look comparably large /high on the head like the Bell Custom 500.
I have also read about what seem to be some excellent low profile 3/4 helmets from overseas like the Davida, DMD and Hedon brands but I am not ready to pay $400 right now for a helmet.
So I have kind of narrowed my search down to the Daytona and the Fly .38... Would appreciate any insights from any of you.
Thanks !

Hoping to find some personal experience "reviews" here as well.

I have two Datoyna's (one brand new in box). When I was wearing 3/4's I did a lot of looking and trying on various helmets. The Daytona was the most comfortable and best looking out of all the ones I tried. I have recently switched to a FF full time (why I have a BNIB Daytona) after seeing my friend's face demolished while wearing a 3/4 when he hit a car, but for a 3/4 the Daytona is a good helmet.

I was impressed with the Speed and Strength 3/4 helmet I tried on last year. it seemed comfortable, didn't seem too huge and wasn't overly heavy.
But, I just did a search and it looks like the one I tried is now only available on Closeout....
