Which Bike Do You Ride More?
#21
Overall I probably ride my 09 Ultra the most. Only take the 80 FXB out to put a few miles or to a car show or two, the 07 FLSTC is bare bone and a good quick run bike or fun runs, but I do put quite a few miles on whatever project bike I'm working on at any time (currently a 1989 FLHTCU). Got to work out bugs and see how each change affects the ride.

821 monster and dyna wide glide
I ride the ducati more, but also enjoy being o the dyna from time to time
the bikes are polar opposites of each other
the duc is far faster, handles far better
the harley is great for cruising long distances, much more relaxed position
both bikes are sexy as hell though

I ride my RGS - it's my main ride. Why? It does it all well, bought my first RK in 04 and really should've sold the WG then. I just like the touring bikes more...
But, my WG is my baby, my first real bike. It's a garage queen along with the Heritage. I actually put them in a rotation for around town rides. I really should sell them both.
We can only take two out to The Black Hills for the summer, so it's the touring bikes, the other two stay buttoned up in the air conditioned comfort of my dining room all summer. I'm going to find a inexpensive but good used metric in the at least 900cc size capable of comfortable two up riding to loan, to riding friends that might fly out to visit in summer. Since I have a 300' gravel drive, I may use that for running around town a good bit. We'll see.

I have a 2017 RGU and a 08 WG, on an average week I am probably on the WG more days than the RGU going back and forth to my sons shop (45-50) mile round trip put but more miles on the RGU. I enjoy riding both but much prefer the RGU, I keep telling myself I take the WG on short hops just to keep miles down on the RGU

I have several bikes because I never trade in my old bike and only sell one if I need more garage space. I have 4 bikes tagged and insured currently but only ride the shovel and road king on a regular basis. The shovel is my daily rider because it satisfies my soul & mind to ride, the RK gets more miles because it satisfies my old *** & body on the longer rides.

I have a Road King and a Super Glide. I ride the Road King more than the Dyna because it's essentially my "car". I have a pick up truck but unless I have to carry something that's too big to manage on the bike, I never drive it. The Super Glide is my baby though, if I could only have one bike, that'd be the one. I can go out buy another Road King today, finding another Super Glide Sport with good suspension and a forged crank is a little tougher.

Mileage wise my Road Glide Ultra gets ridden more, frequency wise my FXD gets ridden more often now.
If I might have to ride home in weather I take the Ultra to work so I can haul rain gear and a helmet, or if I need to go grocery shopping on the way home.
My truck only gets driven if I can't make it to work dry, I can't slog through the building with wet rain gear to get to my office.
