I like most of your posts bro but 'some' of us aren't idiots. We have learned the hard way. Take note also the jackets along with the Converse high tops??? Some of us do not need to make a statement while we ride. Sorry but I only opened this thread again to show the wife who also thought it was stupid.

I can honestly say that when I went down on my Busa at 65mph, I was wearing jeans as I always do but they did absolutely NOTHING to stop from abrasions from the road. The denim material lasted about a millisecond before my knees started to get tore up. Jeans may make you feel better or protected but in reality if you do go down, they don't help much....unless you go with the "riding" jeans with armor and such.
