I have Cree LED projector running lamps and just order a Eurolite LED projector head lamp and a conversion harness from Amazon for my 2016 SGS for under 80.00.

I got Sunpie off of ebay last fall and they look and work great. Payed $117 for headlight and mounting bracket and spot lights for my '12 FLHTC.

Halogen are Hot very hot. They are touchy with how you handle them. They do not provide the light an LED does. The only thing they have going for them any more is they cost less.
Upgraded my 1996 FB (Head light and ditch lights) with halogen because it cost me $160 dollars Vs $700 at the time and I seldom ride it at night. At the time had it cost $300 to go LED I would have.
The kits I am referring to are full replacement upgrades not just some bulb you stick in.

I had my headlight, passing lamps, front directionals and fender light all changed to aftermarket LEDs. I had them done at Americade last year and I think I only paid about $300 for the whole set installed. Totally worth the money in my opinion. Everything was direct replacement. The only thing they mentioned was if I were to add anymore LEDs to the rear of the bike, I'd need to add some sort of resistor.

Same here on my heritage. The aux lights are super bright. I think they're a little brighter than the headlight. I've seen better headlights, but it's still better than the stock halogen bulb.

I did have a small issue with one of the aux lights. The LED lense was a little loose and vibrating. I could see the light from it giggling from the corner of my eye while riding. This was about 6 months after buying them. I emailed asking about a warranty, they sent me a new set, no questions, no returning the bad one.
