Default Stage one kit

I have an 06 road king that has Vance & Hines pipes, a screaming eagle air filter, and a round oil filter. Does it have a stage 1 kit as well. I bought it used.

Give ya a fish..., or teach ya to fish

First off Grasshopper - do a bit of research - and share with us what a stage 1 upgrade entails

btw - square oil filters are known to suck *** - round ones do work better - cylindrical ones are the absolute best

The stage 1 is typically the intake and exhaust mods. It's hard to tell if the cubic inch size has been changed (i.e. 88"-95" or 96"-103") with out seeing paperwork for the build, then you going into the stage 2 arena.

Stage 1 also includes jetting or tuning.

Stage one is where the dealer used the scan tool to get rid of the rev limit on an EFI bike.
You would usually pay the fine to have that done after you put on a Screaming Eagle airfilter setup and a pair of loud mufflers.

Not correct. A stage 1 is exhaust [and] intake mods, and a tune to match.

Removing the rev limit is only that--removing the rev limit.

My bike's previous owner did an air filter and pipes, but no tune. Therefore, it was running too lean, which was very bad. Fortunately I caught it in time before too much more damage was done.
