Default Want a bigger tire on front of 2012 wide glide

I'm brand new to this forum and my wide glide. I love the bike and am trying to get it setup to better suit me. I'm wanting a lower sitting seat than the mustang touring seat. I'm also wanting to change the skinny 21 inch front tire and wheel over to something wider. I'm sure there are other posts about this but I have searched and searched and most info I've found isn't very thorough and the threads jump around a lot. What wheel and tire combo can I use and keep the fender? I have the stock black spoke wheels on it now. Are there other models of bikes that I should look for that have the same bore and disc location?

Go to a 90/90-21 instead of the stock 80/90-21.

I don't recall seeing a different wheel on a FXDWG. You might need to change out the whole front end. What are you trying to accomplish?

Same here, a 90/90-21 Night Dragon. It will make a difference. If you want to get lower, the Le Pera Bare Bones is the lowest you can get. Some don't find the Bare Bones comfortable but I have no issues with it at all.

Got to spend most of Good Friday down in Battle Creek at Froggie's Pond hanging out with Watson and all the rest of the furry kids. He's doing great, the very best in care at Froggie's.

Grabbed an image of Watson just before I left; yea, I've got an antique flip phone

I like the front end. Just gets iffy with that skinny tire when I have to turn into loose sand.

Default Bigger tire

I used to own a 2003 softail standard with a 21 inch front wheel. Not the same bike, I know, but a similar front end.

I replaced the 21 with a 16" Heritage front wheel. Fit perfectly, no need for spacers or anything else. I did put a Fatboy front fender on it, tho'. I don't know if the stock Wide Glide fender would work, but I don't see why not.
