Default quality seats

My brother has a 2010 fat boy and his seat sucks to sit on for more than a few minutes. I'm sure there are some quality seats out there and some that just aren't worth the shipping. I am looking for advise on what seats are top of the line for comfort and what seats are a good bang for the buck. Thanks in advance for any and all advise.

I just recently replaced the seat on my '16 FLHR with a solo by Mustang. The most comfortable seat I have ever had or sat on. My first ride with it was 120 miles and I completely amazed. Mustang has a good rep for quality and comfort; if you shop around you may find a deal or two. I got mine from JP Cycles for a decent price.

Seats are such a personal thing to everyone. For instance, some love Mustang, as mentioned above, but I never found one that was comfortable. After trying several seats on my Fat Boy Lo, I sent my stock seat in to Mean City Cycles for a makeover. New foam and a tail bone channel made it comfy for all day. Still have it after 5 years and about 40K miles. I recently had them recover the seats, also extremely pleased with the results.

I finally got sick of my tailbone hurting me on long rides. I tried a Mustang seat, and it's not been off my bike since I tried it.

For the best results, let Mean City modify the seat.

Great work, fair price and very comfortable

In addition to having the proper padding and cover, a heated seat adds a lot of comfort on cooler rides and MCS can do that also.

My vote for Mustang. Have one on a 2002 Fat Boy and another on a 2001 Road King Classic.

Just bought a '17 Ultra Limited. We tried out all of the seat options that the HD dealer
had on hand (including the Hammock).

Honestly, the stock seat felt the most comfortable to me. I've ridden it for 3+ hours
and had no discomfort at all.

It's more comfy than my previous bike's seat ('13 Victory CCT).
