Default clear glasses

who makes a good set of clear riding glasses. i used to have a pair from 3M, they were like regular glasses but cupped your eyes. they were the best pair i ever had but broke after 2 1/2 years. 3m doesn't make them anymore. wish i could find something like them. anyone have a set they like, pictures would help.

For clear backups I use range protective glasses they practically give away at my range. Can't tell you who makes them but they wrap around nicely. Low wind intrusion. Might want to just check at a shooters supply retailer.

I have a pair made by Wiley X. They are well made and crystal clear.

Regardless of where you buy glasses or how much you pay for them be careful that your vision through them is not distorted as this can cause headaches, nausea, etc.

I bought a pair of the $40 (I think) "transition" lense glasses from a dealership a couple of years ago, and combines with the drop down sunshield in my helmet they do a pretty good job in the sun and also work quite well at night (without the sunshield).

I rarely ride at night but when I drive at night I use a pair of the yellow tinted glasses and they seem to remove a lot of eye strain.

I could not agree more with the yellow tinted glasses. They definitely reduce eye strain. I think they actually make things clearer weather riding in the daytime or night time.

Safety glasses from work, or shooting glasses from Wal-mart. Lots of shapes available, and they're cheap, so you can get several pairs and replace them if you need to.
