Been very happy with my 2016 Softail Slim S, all blacked out. Love the roadster-like, old school look.


But I recently saw the new 2017 Road King Special. Damn, that bike looks good! Never really wanted a bagger, nor have I really liked the bagger look. But this new bike has me thinking of trading... especially with the new 107 engine...

I agree, I saw a new black one at Charlotte HD at it was just beautiful.

 

I was impressed with the bike, it looks sweat!!!!

 

My local has had a couple of them in Charcoal Denim and Olive Gold...both were gorgeous looking bikes, especially the OG one.

 

I am thinking of trading. Not a smart thing to do financially, since I only got my Softail 1.5 yrs ago, but that Charcoal Denim is calling to me...

You aren't. I not in love with it either. It looks like a lump of coal. All flat black, all gloss black, people think it makes them look bad-*** and sinister. It doesn't.

 

Yes, everyone has different tastes. I guess that's why Harley has so many different models and colors.


Have you seen the Charcoal Denim on this bike? I'd definitely not go for the Candy Red, but someone will...

I have not seen one in person. Probably a good thing. The denim charcoal looks amazing in the pics. Actually all of the colors look good.
