...is another leather riding jacket. That said, I just sold two Schotts that didn't fit any more. This weekend, heading up to Portland to visit some friends. Been thinking about stopping in to Langlitz, (since I'm in the neighborhood), "just to look" - I know how that can go. Uh oh.

Great jackets, one of the best if not the best! Loved my Columbia.

Better go sell your first born son if you want a jacket from Langlitz and be prepared to wait about year to get it. That's just the way it is. Good jacket though.

I had a Schotts that I got in 1975. Great jacket.

I had to sell mine though. It used to fit perfect, but it must have shrunk, sleeves were fine, but, I could not zip it up because it shrunk.

I didn't really "need" another leather riding jacket but I bought one the other day.
I looked at the H-D jackets at the local dealership and I almost bought one (I think it was a triple vent) that was on sale at a 20% discount but there was just something about the way it looked that I didn't really care for.
The wife and I went to breakfast last week and there's a leather shop just across the parking lot where we've shopped before.
The jacket that I bought isn't USA made (I know ) but it has two zippered vents in the front and two on the rear and it's larger enough (XLT) to allow room for my heated jacket liner, and the tail and the sleeves are long enough to keep everything well covered
It was $300 (which was about double what I paid for the H-D jacket "way back then") but it will do the job I need it to.

I've had my H-D CHP jacket since (2000?) and it still looks pretty good but I've lost enough gut to where it looks a bit to big for me and it doesn't have zippered vents so I'll keep it for the really cool temps season.

This depends on your age!!!

Hint: I think that it's directly linked to "what's the first thing to go"?

Just looked up the Columbia. Very nice. Reminds me of my Schott Perfecto, which I'll never part with.
