Default Got a loaner today...

Took my '17 Slim S in for a faulty clutch operation-800+km's/ 450mi- and was given a new '17 Street Glide. What an awesome bike!. Lots of ***** on the highway. I would buy one in a heartbeat. The new 107 is pretty impressive.

I can understand why...I've always liked the looks of a Street Glide.

I wonder if it was an intentional act to give you the street glide as a loaner, nothing like tempting you with the latest and greatest motor lol

So between the two bikes, which is quicker - Lighter slim with 110 TC or heavier SGS with M8?

I had a Slim S stage1 2-1Bassani, Arlen Ness stg2 intake and a tune from Fuel Moto. I would give my SlimS the SLIGHT edge over my STOCK Street Glide. This is because of the weight. Again this is against a STOCK Street Glide M8. IMO stock SlimS-110 will lose against a stock M8.

That is one nice looking bike either way.

Buddie at work has a 15 CVO with the 110 and a stage 1, I out pull him on my RK 107 with an SC air cleaner and Fuel Moto slip ons. Pisses him off a bit he's looking at the M8's now.

I should hope so. That shouldn't even be a race. I've ridden a 107 RG and it was definitely stronger than my 103. And my 103 has walked away (albeit slowly) from a 2014 CVO.

I was just figuring the reduced weight of the S might make it a race against the heavier bike with the M8.

All that said, I'm pretty stoked at the prospect of a Dyna with M8.

I'm pretty sure the 'Glide will out pull my Slim. At 70mph, crack the throttle and it starts to pull like my old BBC in my "B" body '66 Pontiac!! Oh and it was actually my choice of bike to take. The 'Glide was kinda intriguing to me- looks, new motor. Again I was impressed........
