Default Blue Springs Missouri lodging?

A group of 8 of us are headed out to Pennsylvania on Saturday morning. Our first overnight stop is scheduled for somewhere in the Blue Springs, Missouri area. Was just wondering if anyone had suggestions of where to stay, and where to stay away from?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I went through there in 2012 when on my 4000 mile solo bucket list trip. I stayed at a Motel 6 there and they treated me great. I had a great time and met some great people at a bar called The Trouser Mouse. They had good food too.

There are a few motels at exit 18 on I-70 there in Blue Springs.
A La Quinta Inn, Welcome Inn, Super 8. Also right next to the Super 8 is
Outlaw Harley Davidson dealership. They used to be call Blue Springs Harley but just change their name. The Worth family still own it.

The next exit on east, #20, has a Hampton Inn and a Quality Inn plus numerous eating places.

Yeah, I stopped in Blue Springs because I thought I had a problem with my bike. Saw that there was a dealership there. Did some research on my laptop that night and decided I didn't have a problem. It turned out to be a fun stop. I stopped there on the way back through and took a day off.

Sorry, didn't mean hijack the thread.

Cool...Thanks for the input. I have a shirt from the dealer when it was Blue Springs HD, from at least 7 years ago!

Blue Springs is a nice suburb of Kansas city. Lots of nice motels right off the Hiway. Texas Roadhouse is a good place to eat in Blue Springs. Good ribs, steaks and country fried Chicken. The hot rolls and butter are great. I'd avoid staying the kc roach motels. Lots of crime in the city. Most major chains are in Blue Springs. Grain Valley is the next exit east on I-70 and is a small little town with a good country bar.
