I had not trouble installing it on the wife's '02 Sporty 1200c, The inside foam was worn down with age so I added weather stripping foam I had laying around and that resolved it. I did readjust the headlight aim a little bit. Seems I shifted it and had it pointed to the ground after install. lol.
My wife (the real judge of this) says she likes it and is able to see better in the dusk and as it gets darker. The high beam is bright and does an excellent job during daylight operation. I knew where she was behind me at all times.
I do have a neighbor with an Ultra running daymakers and he was next to my wife's bike and they looked equally as bright. My neighbor was impressed at the brightness and clean look of it.

I finally got caught in a heavy rain and it worked great for visibility. I could see my wife behind me without a problem. The only problem I saw was that the next day the headlight had condensation in it. The light dried up and cleared up. I cannot say that was too bad considering my speedometer also had condensation and so did my wife's speedometer so it was a really heavy rain.
