Default Garage Sale Score

Saw this sitting on a driveway at a garage sale yesterday. $250-300 new online. I haggled them down to $75. Things looks brand new. I have been looking at wheel chocks for trailer purpose but might use this for my garage as well. Do people store their bikes using a wheel chock? I like the idea of it being upright.

Good find...I bought one new back in 2007 for a '04 Kawi Z1000. Very sturdy wheel chock.

Seems like a good find. For that price, why not? Personally, I don't know if I would park my bike in it everyday (lazy), but I would for sure use it instead of the bike jack when I need the bike upright.

the only down-side is the wheel rocker.... I found it difficult to pull the street glide back out, up and over the rocker. I have a wheeldock which is a bit more straight on, straight in. and for what it's worth.... I leave mine in the chock quite a bit.

I keep my Softail in a Condor that buts up against the wall in my garage. I was wanting another one for my Street Glide but there's no wall to put it against and I can't secure it to the floor. I'm wondering if one like this would stay planted when you pull into it/or out if it's not against a wall or secured to the floor.

Mount it to a Sheet of plywood (or facsimile) at least big enough to be comfortably underneath your feet. Could even mount cleats (think small furring strips) to push against.

Nice deal. I have one that can attach to my trailer also. It's really handy to load a bike by yourself.
