Default Street bob vs Low Rider S

Hey

So I went into my Local dealer and put a deposit down on a 2017 Dyna street bob in denim black with ABS. They weren't able to locate one for me. They called me yesterday and said they would give me a good deal on a 2017 Dyna low rider S that they have in stock.

What is everyone's opinion on this. There are a lot of features that i like on the low rider S like the brakes, suspension, standard with ABS... I like the look of the bike, i don't LOVE it, more a fan of the street bob.

Should i just hold out and wait for a street bob with ABS to pop up or are the features on the low rider S worth getting.

Thanks
Joe

Low Rider or Low Rider S would be my choice.

I ordered wide glide 2017 in january, dealer told me, that HD must made one for me and it will be in June (end of June). When you want something, I think you should wait.

PS: My wide glide will be at my dealer next week, so 1 and half month sooner than expected.

Get what you like

Personally I like the SB better.

+1 to "get what you like". At the end of the day, you'll have the bike for a long while and this wait time will be a distant memory. That said, the LRS is a super hot bike and everyone that I've spoken to who has ridden it, (as I have myself), really liked it. If you haven't already, go ride both bikes - if dealer doesn't have new SB, perhaps a used one or from the rental fleet. You may just change your mind or if not it will confirm a decision to hold out.

You do realize the Low Rider S is about $4000 more than the Street Bob? Does anyone find it surprising that a dealer wants to sell a more expensive and profitable bike over getting a customer something they actually want? They're not called stealerships for nothing.

Could be a concerned dealer just wanting to make a customer happy. But probably not.

Both are nice bikes. I like the look of the Street bob better. I like the added features of the low rider S. I am not a fan of the air intake on the low rider S so i would wanna change that and also the pipes are ok but would also consider changing those as well.

I think there would be only a 1000.00 difference between the 2 bikes when all is said and done since they weren't able to get me the original bike. Ill have to double check
