Default Made Myself a Bracket!

SO, I inquired the other day as what everyone else who was living in a gated community was doing to mount their community entrance gate bar code sticker on. Off to Home Depot I went and $32 later with 1 hour of my time, I fabricated my own. The sticker was slapped on today. Problem solved!

It looks WAY closer to the fender than it actually is. (can be measured in inches) If vibration becomes an issue it can be cross supported to the back of one of the license plate bolts!

Thanks! I always try to subscribe to the KISS method when working. No patents for me! Just throwing it out there so that others here can use what I have learned, just as I have been learning from them all along!

I would have a few concerns.
That could interfere with a sissy bar bag.
The flat plate looks like it is very close to fender and could dent/scratch fender if passenger somehow hit it with a bag getting on or off.
Almost seems to invite someone like a small child to bend it or to steal it.
Would it be possible to mount sticker to upper or lower bolt of windshield detach mount or bracket at top of forks. Check clearance with full turn of bars.
Alternatively maybe on down tube of frame or near frame neck.Check clearance with full turn of bars.
It could also just be picture angle.

I guess I'll be the one to ask. What was $32?
