I wear bifocals for regular glasses. When it was time to get prescription eye wear for riding, it made sense to just get single vision (distance only). I agonized over the purchase for a long time before deciding on Oakley Valve sunglasses. The lenses feature transition technology that works great both in the daytime and at night, I had them added numerous coatings and extra features to the lenses which are high speed impact resistance.
These are by far the best eye wear I have ever purchased for riding. I got them at Lens Crafters. They were not cheap. I think the total price was either $600 or $800. My vision insurance covered most of it so it only cost me around $200 out of pocket.
My original intention was to go with Wiley X. Long story short, I had a lot of hassle for a product I felt was merely ok, and never could get my prescription in them (long story having to do with turf wars), and ultimately got my money back and went with the Oakley Valves at Lens Crafters.
They are not a "goggle", but their functionally, fit, and peripheral vision is better than any goggle I have tried. I do not get wind intrusion at speed and do not sweat or fog up while stationary.
