Wild One 1.25" Riser Adapter

Has anyone used these? I have a bike with 1.25" risers, but the bars I want to put on it are 1" at the riser mount. (just like the picture at the link).
This would be an easier and cheaper way to install the bars; but I'm not sure I trust it without some testimony from folks who have it.
Wow! So would I be the guinea pig if I try it?

Geeze, the amount of modding around here is getting ridiculous. So, the last statement in my first post, was originally in a second post, made much later in the day (most of a day) after I got no response from the first post.
Now, the entire meaning of that statement is lost on everyone. Thanks CoaC. God forbid that anyone has two posts in a row, even if they are separated by nearly a day. It isn't like I'm trying to pad my post count. Other folks have that covered.

I actually have a set of the adapters. they're still in the package not because of any worry that I have about using them, but simply because i'm not sure if i'm going to change out my bars or not. on a cable clutch bike, it would be no issue, but I've got a hydraulic clutch so i'm not sure if there is enough slack to change bars without changing the clutch and/or brake line too.
I have heard of other folks using them without issue.
seems projects like these always seem to snowball don't they?
