Default Longer Jiffy Stands

Having problems with my jiffy stand just cant seem to get use to my stand do not like them. Dose anyone sell a longer stand with the stock stand my bike leans to far to the left. I have difficulty pulling it up especially with a rider on it.

Hope to find a longer stand to help with this, i have been looking at center stands. Anyone else experiencing this problem. This is my first Harley just cant get use to the dam Jiffy Stand.

I've never heard of any KICKstand being longer, unless you had a longer front end. I had to get an extended one for my panhead years ago. But on a stock bike...why would you need a longer Kickstand ?

Try getting the bike upright, then allow the passenger to get on. Might work out better for ya.

One option for you:

Amazon Amazon

I didn't need to go to a jiffy stand extension until I went to +2" over Wide Glide fork tubes; the Bung King extension does make a difference in lean with the longer tubes...

Not to sound like a dick, and I am not trying to be one but-

Save the money and spend it on something else better. Booze, chrome shiny piece, a HD t- shirt (okay, that went too far! LOLOL) Learn and get used to the one on the bike. It has been the same model all these years for a reason. If it sucked way back when, it would have been modified / changed. Lot of people that come from non- HD bikes complain about it, your not the first and will not be the last.

Trust me - trust the jiffy stand. It does what it is supposed to and does it well.

You want a left lean if you park on a high crowned roadway. Ask how I know. I wont even mention passing semi-trucks blowing your motorcycle over.

In full agreement with you both. With the bike in stock condition there is no need to use a longer jiffy or an extension. That thing works and I've always been surprised more manufacturers don't use the same concept. If I had not gone to longer fork tubes I wouldn't be using the extension

I have the performance machine +1 (inch)kickstand on my 16 roadglide. It makes it easier to lift and it doesn't have the foward /rear movement.

I have found that if you turn the wheel to the right it makes it easier to get the bike upright.
