I was browsing a little , thinking might be fun to have a sporty in the garage to buzz around town on and was suprised how many were for sale only one year old! Hmmm?

 

What amazes me is how many people think their 20 and 30 year old sporty's are worth what a 5 year old one is.

Perspective, I am amazed that that 5 year old sportsters are worth no more than 30 year old ones.

This will be good news for those looking for a nice used Sportster.

 

But is it 45 in a local search? In a broad search with the amount sold new, 45 could be a low number depending on scope

 

I love the look of the new Roadsters but they lack a little in a performance and ergo department. That could be fixed with some mods and a set of rear sets. But if you want performance for less look into getting a used Sportster XR1200. I see a lot of 2011's and 2012's out there with low miles for about 3k less than the Roadster. And if you don't need the blacked out look you can get the 2009's and 2010's for even less.

 

Precisely. Without context of the search area the number of '45' doesn't really mean much.
