I like how millennials get blamed for everything by the generation who raised them.

Selling Street Glides to boomers who think riding a Harley one day every two weeks makes them one of the Sons of Anarchy?

Mercedes is not hucking a Hyundai type of car for the masses.
they do everywhere but in the US. Their positioning as a "luxury only" brand here is strictly marketing.

HD darts and dodges aimlessly looking for the flavor of the month - anything that they think will increase sales.
that's how a company stays in business and grows.

Not if they buy Ducati.

Otherwise, yes, it will be an agonizing slow death. Or they will re-invent themselves, stop all USA sales, and only sell the "Street's" in Asia and make a pile of money ripping off those poor jerks.

Welcome from Central Wisconsin. I see you're from Brooklyn. I grew up in ENY. Times have changed.

This x1000. Get real people. I'm a millennial who's about to reach thirty. I've been riding Harley's for 7 years now. Maybe someone can enlighten me but every generation is "the best generation". Their kids and grandkids are the worst generation.

Here's a for instance back in my day kids were outside playing with bikes and fighting ninja turtles and gi Joe's. Now kids sit in front of YouTube and watch mindcraft videos.

We were the only generation raised right.

Only older white people?

If they end up buying Ducati, would that be considered growing?

I don't know... But in a way I don't really care what the younger generations get into. I don't have kids and my dogs will likely pass on before I do. As long as I can buy and ride what I want while I'm still kicking then I'm good. After that I'll be dead and won't give a ****. Won't matter to me if HD is still around then or not.

Same applies to what becomes of the new generations. If the male of the species wants to become metrosexual, man capris wearing (with matching canvas shoes with white soles), latte swilling, urbanized, emasculated (feminism/political correctness driven perhaps), vicarioulsy living through Text, Facebook, Twitter, etc., she-males who have never heard of John Wayne and thinks Harley's are scary, then what do I care? Like I said. I'll be dead and I don't have any progeny to worry about.

We made it clear to our kids that the taxi service ended when they were eligible to drive themselves. Sadly, we're the generation that created the millennials.
Ditto this. I know several kids that are way passed the eligible age to get their driver's license and they have no interest at all in getting their driver's license. I can't relate to this at all as my generation couldn't wait to experience the freedom of driving.
