Without debating whether or not any person is worth that kind of compensation compared to other COO's that is rather modest. The companies these people lead employ thousands, pay millions in payroll and property taxes and provide jobs.

Wanna talk about the salaries of entertainers and athletes?

I agree that it is rather modest compared to some of the insane salaries people get. As long as the shareholders are happy with his performance, I don't see a problem with it.

Half of it is in stock, it helps to keep him invested in the company's performance.

Basketball players put a round ball in a round hoop, and get paid millions. People that save lives get paid in crumbs. Sucks, but how can you change it. I'm just glad they employ Americans and give them a good salary.

Hmm. Chicken feed compared to their $6.0 billion in annual sales and net annual income of $692 million.

I never question what another man makes. Anybody could have followed his path if they had chosen to.

Most anything is high priced if you can't afford it.
