Could you show me where Fram filters ever harmed a Harley engine? I mean, verifiable proof.....

 

Can I personally? no,because the vast majority of HD owners wouldnt use one. The evidence of failures on cars trucks and outboards abounds. They are the bottom of the filter barrel.

 

OEM Filters only for me....OEM oil and plugs, pass

 

I've seen cut aways of Fram and comparable filters,the Fram looked like junk.

 

Been using Fram filters on my cars and trucks for decades with zero issues.

 

Me too, but TwinCam engines are different. They require a filter that filters to a lower micron rating. Auto filters allow larger particles to pass. Is it a big deal, who knows, but cheap insurance for a couple of bucks. To each his own

 

Back in my younger days I ran Fram on everything. Never had a problem.

Guess I have bought into the "they are not as good, second rate, low quality" mindset but have no facts to support that.

They have been around a long time.
