I for one am hoping for no CVO SG for 2018.

You will know in about a week.

Until then, everything is speculation and bullshit.

My dealer is pushing his 2017 Softails, .099% financing or $2000 parts and accessories credit....makes me curious if the 2018's will have the M8....

I have one. It's wonderful, but want the RG guys to get theirs (not Ultra).

M8 will likely be the only big twin engine for 2018. Just look at how replacement engines have been rolled out in the past. I would also say they will return to one engine like in the Evo era compared to the twin cam era there was unbalanced and a balanced version. It makes more financial sense to do that.

The OP has a 2015 CVO with only 1,600 miles on it and is concerned about keeping a bike with a warranty.

No one knows yet!!!

I've never seen a dealer with a CVO Street Glide that hasn't sold quickly. Most are sold before they get them in and if not they're sold within a couple weeks. With a sales record like that, If it were me, I'd surely continue building them.

The cvo's will be 117's this year.
