Default Ok, HDFS has ticked me off...

Harley Davidson Financial Services went and ticked me off. I went to the website to make my first payment and they charge me $3.00 to make a payment??? WTF, there was no mention of this at the dealer, and I didn't read anything in the 'fine print' stating this.

I know it's only $3.00 but dang...

If that $3.00 bucks bothers you, perhaps you should look at the interest rates they are hammering you with. I'm surprised you financed thru H-D at all

That's some nice cash for them. Let's just say that they have 50k customers paying that 3 bucks. That's a cool 150k for them, every month. Nice, for them.

That's only a one time payment to get your auto payments set up.

Why not have your banking institution send them the payment monthly for nothing?

Surprisingly, HDFS was right in line with the banks/credit unions in the area. There wasn't a percent difference between them. I have great credit so I'm not being hammered.

As I said, it's only $3.00 but it's MY $3.00 they're taking. Well, it WAS my $3.00... It is what it is.

I was peeved about that too....

I did the automatic recurring payment option and there is no charge for that.

I got some really, really bad news for you. If you get upset because your new Harley made you spend $3 that you were not expecting, You are going to be upset a lot in the future.
