I'm a little surprised they killed the Dyna but then again, they have to reduce the line up and streamline production. They have a glut of 2017's at dealers which should help at least clear out the Dynas.

Owning a '15 SGS that I blacked out, I hate to see them offering it stock on the Special touring bikes. I do like the stretched bags on those models.

I like the new Heritage. That model was getting tired and they did a good job freshening it up.

While some people will like the new bikes and others won't, the changes are good for the brand to keep it alive. H-D was putting out the same thing over and over for the past 15 years while other manufacturers were stealing about customers. I'm pretty sure I've bought my last Harley and will keep it until I can't ride any longer. I'll still take the new ones out for a test ride though.

Your poll assumes that either someone is going to buy a 2018, or they are not going to buy because of not liking the new models.

I fit neither of your questions.

I have not yet looked at the 2018's, so I don't know if I like them or not.
I do not plan to buy another bike anytime soon, regardless of what I think of the new ones.

One thing that has happened every year I've been on this forum is the obligatory new model bashing that follows the new model introduction.

The only bikes that Harley made that I was interested in were the DynaSuper Glide and the Road King.

IMHO The MOCO has gone LOCO.

Wow....I don't pay much attention to the new bikes, but I really can't believe they're dropping the Dyna line.

I think the last time the faithful were this pissed was when the Evo's were introduced. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

The proof is in the riding, of course, and the new chassis has to deliver. But done correctly, this design has the potential of being far superior to either the old Dyna or Softail frame. They claim it is both stiffer and lighter. We'll see.
Well said. The proof of the pudding will be in the handling. Note that the lean angle of these new "softails" is greater than on the old softails, more like a Sportster. I think Harley will ultimately do very well with this new line up.

This. I like the Fat Bob 114 but at $20K and a 3.6 gallon tank, I'll pass.

I'm only interested in the Limited as I don't like the shark nose and that is what the wife and I do is tour around. I need the tour packs on a bike. So I don't pay attention to any of the other models. That being said... '18 hasn't changed from '17 besides some new paint. Took a '17 for a demo ride last year. With the modes to my bike the '17 is not worth the cash to upgrade. Not that I dislike the new Limited, just isn't anything there worth my bike and $20K+ for a stock limited. I'll be hanging onto mine for the foreseeable future unless I moved into something completely different.
