Default 2018 Heritage or 2018 Fatboy?

So as some of you know in definitely eyeing up the new 2018 Fatboy! But with that being said a couple years ago my local dealership blacked out a 2015 Heritage Softail and it looked great. I was never a big fan of its styling until I say it blacked out and with black 16" apes and a seat without the studs. It looked so good I said if Harley ever made one from the factory like that id buy it!

Well it looks like they pretty much did with the new 2018 Heritage. The blacked out 107/114 M8 looks great on that bike especially with that Twisted cherry color paint! My only problem with it is still has studs even though they look way better and the fenders still have that stupid medal trim. I prefer clean fenders. But either way I definitely think it looks great.

Tomorrow I'm going too see them in person and make a better assessment. Any body see the new Heritage in person yet? How does it compare to the new Fatboy in which I'm really interested in?

Saw them both yesterday. I'm more of a "less is more" guy, so the Heritage has always been just a bit much for me whereas the Fatboy is perfect. After seeing them both, that opinion hasn't changed. I was a bit skeptical, however, about the 2018 FB styling until I got up close and sat on one. REALLY NICE! My only gripe is that the primary sticks WAY out for a short-legged guy like me. Other than that, I like where they've gone with the bike.

The twisted cherry color is beautiful in person!

Both are Awesome!

At the end of the day if I was buying it would be the Fat Boy with 114 motor.

Sweet!

I'm a little worried about the primary sticking out too. I sat on a Fat Boy 114 yesterday that the techs had just taken for a short ride and I really felt the heat on my left calf.

It sucks, because it seems like the heritage is an awesome bike with just the right accessories and stuff... I just cant get past the studs. Even the new square black studs didnt change my opinion.

You can take the studs off.

I know ive always hated the studs. This was there chance to finally get rid of them. I think the new Fatboy is were its at though. But ill reserve my real opinion until i hopefully see them in person tomorrow.

I can't stand the studded bags on the Heritage. They kind of look....well, you know.
Not that there's anything wrong with it.

With this exception however, I like the Heritage better than the FB.

I have seen them both and the Fat Boy is so much nicer looking then the Heritage. Actually the Fat Boy is the best looking bike in the lineup
