Whats everyone's favorite riding speed. Do you like cruising through towns at 15 to 25mph, taking the back country roads at 35 to 45mph, hitting up the smaller highways and open roads at 50 to 60mph or hitting the interstates at 70mph+??

I like cruising the back roads myself around 50mph. Its the most therapeutic and relaxing to me. No Semi trucks trying to run me off the road at crazy speeds. Just have to watch out for deer where im at.

 

I ride at a speed safe for conditions.

 

Back road twisties, about 55... course 100+ on a long endless empty straight away has its draw too, course Id never do that officer, no sir.

 

Yes most of us do. But whats your favorite? If you had your choice with the wind in your face and trying to relax??

 

I ride with a purpose, no pleasure riding. So I tend to ride fast on the shortest distance, quickest route possible. Didlling away time and dillydallying on back roads is not my thing.

 

50-60 since that was close to my favorite speed, which is 60-70. Roads...I like 50mph winding roads, where I'm not constantly shifting. And I like highways, where I ride the speed limit. I'm not a fan of tickets.

 

I like back roads 35-45mph! I find there's more to see when I stay off the highways
