I got a pair because they had +1.5 bifocal readers. Nice to not pull a Fred Sanford every time you need to read something.

i've had one pair of these useless sunglass's over many years of riding. if you want to stand around and look cool , they work. but for riding they are usless. glad i lost them.

They are cheap and they work... I have been wearing them for over 30 years. You can come up with all the justifications you want to spend $150.00 on a pair of riding glasses if you choose, but KD's are great, and I have never had a pair fly off my face. Plus the lens meet ansi z80.3 for impact resistance.

You can buy a dozen for $11.00 a pair and don't care if they get lost or scratched. Keep a couple of pairs in the saddle bag for when some one else loses a pair.

I have 8+ pairs in many colors. At 5 bucks, they are throw aways. I dont wear them any more, stop when i stopped wearing 3/4 helmets.

Considering the design, it's always amazed me how well they block the wind for my face. I assumed the wind would whip in the sides and have me teary eyed within' miles the first time I picked up a set on the fly.
That was a couple decades ago and I've had a pair around ever since. I really like the yellow ones for night riding. Liked 'em so much, I recently had a pair fit with Rx lenses and tinted to match the originals.

I'm down to my last set of "Minute" Oakley's now. I can get those Rx fit too and bought 5 pair on eBay about 8 yrs. ago because they were discontinued.

When I find something that works for me... I'm all over that ****.
KD's have lasted the test of time for a few reasons.
