Are u checking tire pressures?
So over the last 6 months I have checked tire pressures regularly, more so than I have over the last 30 years. I have probably checked air pressure 15-20x. Today I have 10600 miles(18000km year to date. I have not had to add any air to the front, and the rear I have had to add air because I believe of the air I lose trying to check it. It is a royal pain I agree. I ride in a wide range of temps, today I started at 2c which is probably 37f and I ended at 16c, 60 ish F.
Is this what you see as well? This is consistent with what I have seen with my other bikes saw well, both tubed and tubeless. Current ride is ultra classic 2009 tubeless rims.

check em two three times per week in riding season. i ride everyday.
40/40, no issues, typical 12 to 15K rear 22k to 25k front.
usually 2 rears to 1 front which means rears are not completely worn out when changed.
im more rear brake than front, dont like to push rears to wear bars. tar and chip roads make for interesting ride in semi wet condition when rears are worn.
using stock dunlops, switching to Pirelli this change. heard good things about the night dragon GT.

I check pressure before almost every ride, just part of the routine maintenance. If I am leaving early in the morning I will check them the night before. I rarely need to add more than 1 or 2 psi. I run 38 front and 42 rear. I got 17k miles from the stock rear tire, and changed both tires (Michelin Commander 2) because it would have bothered me to have an old tire and new tire of different brands together.
I was also taught to check the oil every time I filled up with gas, and it is a habit I still have today. I am amazed at how many people don't even know how to check the oil level. A coworker recently asked me about a funny clicking noise coming from her car. It was 3 quarts low. Her comment - but the oil light never came on.

Air is 78% nitrogen, mixing air with nitrogen is harmless. I suspect the shop wants you to return to spend more money on genuine nitrogen.
