Even Good Dealers Make Mistakes
 

On May 5th I took my RKC in to the dealer for new front tire. A couple weeks later a local shop owner took a look at my bike and asked me, 'why did they put a rear tire on the front of your bike?' He said he could tell by the tread pattern...we looked at it closer and sure enough, the tire said - 'Rear Fitment Only'.

So off I go to the dealer and a talk with the service manager. He comes out...looks at the tire...and directly apologizes for what the service tech did. An hour later I ride home with a new tire...this time the right one!

These guys have always treated me good and so I'm not going to come down on them for this. Yes, it could have been serious but the next time I come in I know they'll do me right. I guess even good service departments make honest mistakes.

I bet there's a service tech that found himself "standing tall before the man"over that one!:D:D
