This causes the bike to track as straight as an arrow. He does this again at a higher speed, but actually DISMOUNTS the bike COMPLETELY, standing entirely on one foot peg. Riders are often stunned to see that the bike, virtually unaffected by these gymnastics, continues right on target like a torpedo.
I'd like to see that!

if you use anything other than oem tires you can counter steer all you want but you will go straight off the road on your first turn with aftermarket tires...every real biker knows that. If you buy the Chinese light you may be branded a communist or at the very least un- American which clearly makes you a non biker. Patches??? Only on holes in your pants anything else may get you beat up by the big bad biker who holds his gas cap in one hand while fueling with the other...now that's a real man. Full face or half helmet??? Wtf??? Any type of helmet will throw off your equilibrium so bad that no matter how much you counter steer you're going in the woods.

Thread seems to be gaining some traction and should erupt into a full blown name caller in about 15 posts.

I'm trying to push it in that direction, but no one's biting.

I must be slipping.

That's because they never really learned to ride a bicycle. They never really worked at it. They never pushed their bicycle to the max, and then they grow into adulthood, buy a motorcycle, and have to learn to ride because their lives depend on it. What saves your butt is knowing how to ride hard so you can just "flick" the bike hard into the corner or turn if you get in too hot. You don't have time to think about "counter steering"; you do it by reflex or you crash. Lots of riders die because they don't have that reflex; they stand the bike up and cross the center line.
