I have heated grips and just got a set of heated gloves as the back of my hands would freeze. The other morning it was like 37 and I used both. The good thing my hands were toasty..the bad thing, I could tell how cold everything else was.

Did I miss it or did no one mention Elephant ears?
Maybe with heated grips.... as an alternative to heated gloves.

I guess it depends on how cold it gets in your area and how bad the wind is.

Tried the heated gloves , hated all the wiring to deal with, a complete PIA for me when stopping and getting on and off the bike. Love the heated grips with winter gloves, easy peasy and effective.

I installed Heated Grips on my Street Glide when I had it and I never wore my heated gloves again. Different bike now but still heated grips.

Around here people use Knucklewarmers- no plug ins or fancy doodads.

I prefer heated grips and am having them installed on my new 2018 FLHC. I've had both heated gloves and grips, and found that the heated grips are always with me when I need them. At my age (I'm OLD), there just isn't anymore riding below 45 degrees. HOWEVER...to each his own...just keep riding!

Grips. They are not just for cold weather. I use mine if and when I get caught in rain storms.

I had to pick one, so I picked Heated Grips. For me, they're good down to the mid to low 30's. Heated Gloves would be for if/when the Heated Grips aren't enough. The Heated Gloves I had once (Gerbing) just heated the backs of my hands. I still needed Heated Grips for the palms of my hands.
