Bike drifting to the left.

Hello everyone. I riding a 2016 FLTRXS and I really love this bike. I’ve owned it since new. One problem is on a calm day, if I let go of the handle bars, the bike dives to the left. I’ve talked to another owner of one and they’re having the same problem. Harley says, nothing we can do. I would appreciate anybody's professional advise. Thank you.

Try unscrewing the clutch cable hold down strap to the fairing. Sometimes it is to tight and causes a pull.

Most any bike I have had I have been able to let go of the bars if I wanted for a reasonable length of time barring an 08 Road Glide I had. That one I had to compensate with additional weight in the opposing bag. Now bashers will come along to chastise us for riding without complete control. In 1, 2, 3.....

yea...that clutch cable actually puts a little pressure on the front end...pushes it to the right......so........falls to the left......

Couple of other threads about this, with lots of explanations.

Democrat?

LOL!

Too many things can cause a bike to drift to the side. Generally, it's either a weight imbalance, or a bearing race alignment issue. Or tire profile. Or sloppy frame construction. Or, or, or...

Many bikes do that. It is commonly attributed to the weight of the primary. It can be exacerbated by true dual exhaust with the pipe on the left side.

Here is some casual reading.

Keep your hands on the bars, problem solved.
