Default Yellow Lens Sunglasses

Who here uses yellow sunglasses? Day or night? When is best time?

I picked up some yellow KD sunglasses in large since that was the lens I didn't have yet. They are an interesting experience. I used to use a deeper tinted yellow for skiing, which was almost essential. But what are the ideal motorcycle uses of yellow sunglasses?

In flat light situations where there is no contrast or shadows. I have a set of Ray-Ban Ambermatics that are fantastic.

I had some I used to mow with. I could really see the dead spots in the yard because it brightened everything up. I never thought about driving with them...it was was before I had a bike...but it'd have to do the same thing.

Any of you guys in the Southern US that want to come to Canada and try them out, I can loan you a pair. They are excellent in snow storms!!

I like a good set of yellow I have a set of he ten dollar kd but they don't compare to the bobster set(40 dollar set forget maker but neat glasses) had harley ones that were supper great. I use them day and night. I do still keep the kids have in bag for emergencies. The harleys one were perfect at night but not built as sturdy as the bobster and twice the price. If the kds don't impress you at night the bobster and Harley ones with irtechanable lens both eliminate the oncoming lights better imo. But kd may make different version than mine I never saw them till I moved to sc and they are always on the bike I can say. The yellow seems to relax my eyes for some reason in both day and night if that makes sense.

Me too...but at night.

IMHO..not good in bright sun light. Maybe ok in heavy overcast.

I have a pair of Wiley X sunglasses with interchangeable lenses. One pair of lenses is yellow. I use them at dawn or dusk and when it is overcast or hazy. It improves contrast significantly.
