The IMS show at Norcal sucked because there were no good models to show. All the good stuff was at the Long beach show. I believe the Norcal scene is way better then the trash they have in SoCal. And it usually rained when they scheduled it. I feel that the support is not all there.

Yea, so, it was badass. Grinned most of the day just diggin on the custom builds. I put some pics on instagram under exoskltl https://www.instagram.com/exoskltl/

I was hoping to see HD drop a new bike but am resigned to doing some major changes to mine. Very tempted to go pick up a cheap 883, pop a 1250 in, and turn it into a tracker...

Good day.

The Cleveland IMS Show has progressively gotten lamer by the year. If I lived within 10 miles, admission was free AND there were no good re-runs on ME TV, I'd go.

The IMS used to come to Phoenix every year, but stopped several years ago. Fifth largest city in the US, year-round riding weather and they pass us by.

Because the shows were weak at best, went to a few and they where a waste of time & money. Can't even get a decent swap meet around here anymore it's all vendors and take off twinkie crap.

A few years before they quit having them in San Mateo the shows were pretty good. All the manufacturers had a huge presence. But, it peaked and there was a huge downhill slide and then poof, gone. I quit going, too.

Swap meets - those sure disappeared, didn't they.

Swap meets disappeared because the government stepped in and required sellers to collect sales tax and have a business license.
