It would be a sin to restore that bike, they are only original once. Not only that, if you did restore THAT bike you would greatly diminish its value. I restore em when they are incomplete, fallen apart and left for dead. To molest a bike that has survived all these years would be a sin. But Yeah, some folks can screw up a wet dream.

Once you realize the front brake is there for show and the rear brake is just a little better than that, you start to plan ahead and pay attention a lot more. Then you are golden. As the song goes, "can get you into trouble but can't get you out..."

Fix what needs fixing to OEM spec, Clean it up, Ride her don't hide her. Anything else would be a sin against the Harley God. You would be punished for all eternity.
