Leave her alone, she earned that patina. Just do what is needed mechanically and ride the hell out of it.

Were the motor mine, there would be two inclinations: One to leave it alone as much as reasonable and ride it, the other send it to Icon for a Derelict build.

If that is the original paint, leave it as it. I would just work on the mechanical issues, tires and everyday maintenance.

This is nice. Not $75K nice, but nice. I wonder how many here could start and ride, much less maintain that bike?
