No pipes, intake mods or re-tune either?

it came with the screamin eagleIIs. I'm eventually going to go with true duals, but only after a rear fender change. It's a carb, so no mods needs there.

No my Shovel wasn't stock...picked her up quite literally as an old barn find, old factory gaskets back then were **** making her leak like a pot boiling over, I tore down the engine..jugs 'n all, 'n put James gaskets in there.
Also had old Poughco pipes on her. Came with an S&S carb on her, which ain't for power, they're for ease of maintenance. No stroker kit, no cams, no bore outs. That bike did great even with my wife on the back.

With all this talk of sound, the question is: are we riding or listening?
Not mine

Park a shovel in a line with 30 twinkies and watch which bike everybody looks at.

Biggest problems I found with most shovels over the years where the owners. Do some basic upgrades on a few things and pay attention to regular services and not let little **** turn into big issues a shovel can be a damned reliable bike.

So it's attention we are after? Park a Pan or Knuckle next to a Shovel.
