Looks real good so far. Tank looks great. I'm not so crazy about the seat sticking up in the air like that but maybe when you get a rear fender back on it'll tie in. Whatever you do, please don't mount the the fender so it moves with the swing arm. That looks like *** on a big bike.
Now, about all that black. Why do so many people buy into the same fad in an effort to look different? If it were me I'd get a chrome primary, oil tank, forks and wherever else I felt necessary and I'd scotch-bright them dull to give them an industrial look. Then you'd be bangin' on a bike that stands out. Keep going, you're on the right track.
P.S.
OMG. Your garage is painted pink. WTF is with that??? If you're gonna post more pics you gotta photo shop out that color.

will install bobber fender to the swingarm,
thanks, the rear fender looks like about the perfect length to me!
yup it will get on there straight after the tank.
haha yeah I bought the house like this,, not sure what the previous owner was thinking!? always wanted to re paint and never got around it!
Thanks for the constructive feedback. the seat is sticking up a bit as suggested by head mechanic at my local HD dealer,, so I dont fly backwards when I twist the throttle. haha I actually was thinking about mounting the rear fender to the swingarm! would you be able to show me an example of bad & good fenders??
The gap between the tank and the seat will be reduced as I fine tune it.
Thanks all for the overwhelming amount of feedback overnight I appreciate the time and your views and read all with interest.

I totally dig the seat set up and it might not be a good idea, but I LOVE THE LOOK WITH NO REAR FENDER. Totally BAD A$$!!!!
The tank looks way better with out the masking tape on, but to me it still looks a bit like a tiny head on huge shoulders. Other than that I like EVERY thing else about it.
ps if you're going with a rear fender, I like the one in your inspiration photo as opposed to the longer one on the Triumph.
so I guess yay in general.
