What You Didn't Know About Helmet Laws
By Alberto Cintron

Laws change from state to state on helmet safety. Even further than that there is fine print on what is safe or unsafe about various helmets. Find out what you need to know inside.

I know enough that helmet laws have nothing to do with safety as control by the insurance cartels using federal agencies and politicians to codify profit into public law.
I was there and saw it in person.
FTW and if you believe your choices must be controlled and certified then you're part of the problem.
The same application is used in seat belt laws.

Never really pay any attention to helmet laws because I have always worn a full faced helmet since working in the ER as an RN for 26 years . If someone wants to dress in their pirate uniform like their attending a gay pride parade then go ahead . If you do not like your States helmet laws then get politcally active or move to a different State so you can not wear a helmet and can have the pirate look like all your friends .

I agree, helmets do not prevent accidents, they prevent injuries. I wear the best full face my money can buy. I also wear gloves. Your head tends to impact concrete just as your hands usually try to break a fall.

It's a choice we all have to make. I do it for my wife, kids, grandkids, siblings and parents who are all still alive. If it were not for them I really wouldn't have much to live for anyway and would be a little more carefree. Till then, I try to be as safe as possible.

Anyone know what helmet this is? It appears to be an HD lid. I'm a half helmet guy but I really like how this one looks.

I didn't see it on HD website. Appears to be from a galaxy far far away.

Second that on NH. Have lived here my life, legislature tried to enact a law some time ago, it did not fly.

This is a choice state, I believe Fl and Maine are also choice states.

So how does wearing a helmet or not wearing one make one dress like a pirate or like a in a gay pride parade? Just curious. I would really like to know your answer.

I really do not look much different at all when I choose not to wear a helmet, or wear my half helmet or my full face helmet. Everything else I wear is the same.

None of my friends have a Pirate look, most never where HD clothing either.
