How old is too old to ride?
I am currently 50 and feel that health willing I will be riding well into my 70s.
My wife is already starting to ask me how much longer I plan to ride. I told her today that I want the bike buried with me. |
never too old to ride, as long as you feel that you can do it safely I say RIDE!

I'll know when I kill myself on the thing.

I'd say you have at least another 25 years in you, if you take care of yourself.

Man buried on his Harley.

100, 101 is a good age to stop and concentrate on other activities.

It varies widely by individual.
I wrote several paragraphs about my own struggles and philosophical tangents but ultimately decided to erase all that. Oh, and don't bury a perfectly good bike. That's blasphemous. |
A man who has stayed physically fit his adult life, doesn't/won't suffer from obesity related ailments, hasn't lost the gene lottery, doesn't drink/drug excessively and his cognitive abilities remain unimpaired, should be good to go until his mid 70's or even late 70's.
Otherwise, early 60's. Of course, there are exceptions. I'm 64. I just bought a new bike. Hope to have it 10 years. |
When you can't hold up a Trike anymore it is probably time to hang it up.
